New 1.1 Update! Includes new puzzle and quality of life changes!


Hello everyone! We are so happy to hear all the feedback and comments from you all! I want to individually thank and shake every person's hand who downloaded but that's not possible :sob:

There's been a lot of useful feedback so I wanted to reflect that in this major update!

A small list highlighting the biggest ones include:

I felt the lab floor was pretty underwhelming so I gave it a unique puzzle!

A lot more changes were made so I'll leave a full change log below:

  •   Added Inventory screen
  •   Added Sanity Check screen (Previously hidden stat)
  •   Limited Sage's (Main Character's) name character limit to 10
  •   Added static effect when losing sanity
  •   Fixed bug where Rocky no longer takes damage in "I tell Rocky to Save Vinnie" choice during mech floor confrontation if he's properly motivated or crowbar collected
  •   Added particles to final boss intro encounter
  •   Added main screen changing to reflect true ending
  •   Added sage (main character) reflection to staircase if lost any sanity
  •   Added final boss reacting to having 3 bullets
  •   Added secret character reacting to completing puzzle if first meeting them
  •   Reworked name easter eggs to now properly skip if previously seen line
  •   Final boss reacts to secret character being left behind
  •   Added custom mouse cursor
  •   Added custom character text noises
  •   Lowered default audio preference
  •   Character health takes up less of screen
  •   Fixed lab beret zombie's shiver animation loop
  •   If you access options when in main menu bg now properly displays for better legibility
  •   Previously selected choices now appear faded
  •   Fixed some typos
  •   Removed choice to take off juggernaut's helmet in final confrontation
  •   Rocky can now break down office closet door if motivated
  •   Hid some of hud for final boss encounter for better immersion
  •   Added line where secret character says suicide isn't the way after certain character death
  •   Added more unique zombie sfx
  •   Fixed kerning for game over screen
  •   Added unique sfx when walking on mech floor upper level
  •   Added more unique impact sfx
  •   Rocky punching monitor scene no longer repeats if selected again
  •   Secret character reacting to tank no longer repeats if selected again
  •   Reworked ending framework
  •   Fixed office closet door weapon selection bug
  •   Fixed being able to use gun at some points while at 0 ammo
  •   Renamed Lab floor piece puzzle as USB puzzle for better immersion
  •   Added new track to secret lab tank room note
  •   Added new track to final boss intro encounter
  •   Added achievements
  •   Removed being able to collect lab bullets
  •   Added party check to see if group is motivated or Norman romanced
  •   Very VERY secret ending now easier to obtain with hint
  •   Game now recognizes names spelled like "nAmE"
  •   Added new name easter eggs
  •   Added new splash text easter eggs
  •   Much more advanced name profanity filter system
  •   Window icons should display properly
  •   New pop out animations for most image and text buttons
  •   Smaller hud
  •   Classified and archived some hidden files
  •   Font outlines scale with window size
  •   Click to continue icon displays properly
  •   Changed some gui positions
  •   Dissolve transition is now much faster
  •   Quick menu no longer briefly appears when traveling room to room
  •   Added unique shape puzzle to final boss room entrance
  •   Lab pills now damage if taken
  •   New lab death for rocky and sage(Main Character) if taken pills
  •   Better mobile gui support
  •   Edited warning splash text
  •   Edited password input answers framework for floor 2
  •   Edited final character sprites
  •   Edited secret character sprites
  •   Norman loses affection point when dismissing him during window floor 2 scene
  •   New room in lab floor
  •   Lab floor main room is now destroyed and bloody
  •   Added small event explaining why city is aflame
  •   Fixed continuity errors
  •   Tweaked gui spacing
